The agreement, in plain words
These terms govern your use of ScoreRoute. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. They are written to be read.

01The service
ScoreRoute is an AI-powered practice and preparation tool for the TEF Canada and TCF Canada French exams. It provides practice exercises, AI-generated evaluations with estimated CLB levels, and progress tracking.
02Estimates, not official scores
All scores, levels and evaluations produced by ScoreRoute are informed practice estimates based on publicly available frameworks and original evaluation models. They are not official exam results, are not certified by any exam body, and do not guarantee any outcome on a real exam or in any immigration process. Official results are issued exclusively by authorized test centres.
03Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure — you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One account per person; accounts are personal and not transferable.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use ScoreRoute.
04Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use automated tools to scrape content or flood the AI evaluation system.
- Do not submit unlawful content, or personal data belonging to someone else without their consent.
- Do not resell or redistribute AI evaluations as an official assessment service.
05Free plan and subscriptions
- The free plan includes a limited number of AI evaluations per month (currently 3) and may evolve over time.
- The Pro subscription ($19/month) unlocks unlimited evaluations and advanced tracking. Billing is handled by Stripe and renews monthly.
- The monthly plan ($19 CAD/month) is a recurring subscription charged automatically each month until cancelled. The 3-month plan ($39 CAD) is a one-time payment with no auto-renewal; Pro access lasts 90 days then reverts to free. You may cancel the monthly subscription at any time via your Settings page or the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued after purchase by default.
- If we change prices, existing subscribers are notified in advance and the new price applies from the next renewal after notice.
06Your content
You own the submissions you write or record. You grant ScoreRoute a limited licence to process them — including through our AI provider — solely to operate the service: generating your evaluations, storing your history and computing your progress. We do not publish your submissions.
07Our content
The ScoreRoute application, its design, branding, exercise prompts, rubrics and generated feedback structures are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. TEF, TCF, CLB/NCLC and related names belong to their respective owners; ScoreRoute is not affiliated with them.
08Disclaimers and liability
ScoreRoute is provided 'as is'. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not warrant uninterrupted service or that estimates will match official results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
09Termination
You may stop using ScoreRoute and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.
10Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions? Reach us through the Help Center — mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence remain unaffected by these terms.
