We want ScoreRoute to work for every learner, including those using assistive technologies. Here is where we stand today — honestly — and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

01Our commitment
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as we build and improve ScoreRoute. Accessibility is treated as ongoing engineering work, not a one-time checkbox.
02What is in place today
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, headings and labelled form fields.
- Full keyboard navigation for menus, accordions and forms, with visible focus states.
- Colour choices checked for contrast against WCAG AA on text and interactive elements.
- Animations respect your system's 'reduce motion' preference.
- A responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% and small screens without loss of content.
- The interface is fully available in French and English.
03Known limitations
- Speaking practice relies on audio recording; a text-based alternative flow is on our roadmap.
- Listening exercises are audio-first by nature; transcripts for practice review are being explored.
- Some AI-generated feedback panels are dense; we are improving heading structure inside them for screen readers.
04Report a barrier
If anything in ScoreRoute is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us through the Help Center contact form. Describe what you were trying to do and the assistive technology involved — accessibility reports are triaged with the same priority as functional bugs.
